Read somewhere that the Fedde package was built around Wilken.  I hope that isn't what they give up for a rental.

Don't believe random twitter accounts that pretend they are insiders and spam rumors.

Fedde is signed through 2025 at 7.5mil next year. That isn't a rental.

Brewers are aggressively pursuing Flaherty according to a Tigers beat reporter

According to another source, so are the Yankees.  In order to land him, we are going to have to severely overpay, and that scares me.  I soooo didn't want to trade Wilken or Boeve, but it looks to me like one or the other is going if we want Flaherty or any other pitcher that will help us out.

Didn't say it was.  Just saying I hope they don't panic and pay that for a rental, if that was even on the table for Fedde.

Considering they'd need to add a bat or two in addition, this could be an expensive trade deadline.

Love the Lane Thomas deal for the Nationals. Clemmey is a legit high upside arm. Don't care about the ERA or the current walk rate. He has all the tools to make a serious push for a top of the rotation starter down the line. That young man absolutely dominanced the Mudcats in the first half.

Man, Fangraphs had the guy the Astros dealt for Kikuchi as their No. 2 prospect. That seems like a lot.

The Astros farm system is one of the worst systems in baseball.

They have him 92nd overall.

Basically every prospect person I've seen has thought the trade was terrible. I've seen some speculation that Crane meddled and forced the move. Aram from Just Baseball said he probably wouldn't even do that trade if Kikuchi had another year of control.

MLB Network said Yankees in hard pursuit for Tarik Skubal.

I don't believe the Yankees have the prospects to get Skubal.  Apparently the Tigers asked for Holliday plus from the Orioles for Skubal.

And now the Orioles have to part with Connor Norby for Trevor Rogers.

I really hope we don't trade for any more starting pitchers.  The prices are even more ridiculous than usual.

Norby AND Stowers. I mean, Rogers is a good get, especially with control beyond this year, but sheesh.

Yea that seems way too much to give up in that deal.  I assume Bal has a roster crunch coming too but still. Rogers has been pretty blah for a few years now, while in a pitchers park.    With Bal trading away a ML OF last week I assumed it was designed to free up more starts for guys like Cowser, Stowers and Kjerstad.   But yea I guess they still have so many guys there trading one more is expendable.    Still, just feel like its been years of waiting for that good one year version to come back and it hasn't happened.

This isn't going to happen and I understand why but we should take advantage of the market and get a ton for Devin. I would have been happy taking the Rogers return for Williams if Baltimore would have been willing.

Not sure if a joke or aware, but he was traded to the Mets a few days ago.

Just had MLB network on and their assumption is MKE will add a bat of some kind by end of day though. They threw around Canha due to the familiarity.  I'd think a RHH OF would be the type
