I'm feeling a bit more uneasy about this one.  Hoping they at least win the first game.

Questions are a burden.   And answers a prison for one's self.

I thought Priester was pitching Friday night?

It depends on where you look, I seen both.  Unless if Priester is an opener or something?

Let the 2nd half? begIN with QuINN!

He always leaves us with a grIN!

Get ready the bullpen dialer for Tyler!

We will steal the show from Glasnow!

Asking for another sweep this time in L.A is probably getting too greedy — though we did sweep in Philly!

A series win would be fantastic.

At least a single win would clinch the tiebreaker for seeding with the Dodgers should that come into play at the end of the season, so let’s at least have that.

I'm a little nervous too.  Getting tonight's game would go a long way in making me not so nervous.

Very good point.

If you gotta play these guys this isn't the worst time to do so. Even with all their injuries they still can be very formidable but they just haven't been hitting on all cylinders. How teams come out of the chute after the ASB is always interesting.

Even with all the other talented hitters in their lineup, it's refreshing to face them w/o Muncy. He always seems to be pure clutch.

I would rather face them when they can't throw their top 3 starters and entire bullpen at us, but the same can be said of us. Regardless, it's still econo-team vs. Goliath, and there really is no getting around that. Plus, if the Dodgers have any fire in their belly, they probably are looking to pay us back for the sweep last week. Getting one of these 3 could be a chore.

Plus, I hate West Coast swings - I'm an old guy and not staying up late for the end of a few of these next 6 games. It's especially crummy from not having a game to follow since last Sunday - it's like going almost two weeks without a full fix.

I think the Dodgers might be a little fired up for this series.  I'm sure there will be some talk on how us sweeping them was our World Series.  They will probably want to come out and put us back in our place.  Here we go!

Took the Cubs 3. batters to put 3 on the board against the Bosox  .

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

... and we are off! Good luck to all during the dog days and then the final stretch, should be another fun one.

This playoff race seems tighter than it often is.

Only 8 games separate the top 9 teams in the NL, and the 9th place Reds are just 2.5 games out of the last WC spot.

5 teams are within 3 games of the league’s best record.

C'mon the big-payroll-boys have all the expectations on them!

We ain't supposed to be able to compete with these mega-millionaires!

The pressure is on them!

They are nervous!

Brewers are calm, cool, and collecting on street corners!

Brewers are snarling to get back in the ring and devour these guys some more!

Does anyone know what the rotation order is post-ASB? Hoping to catch Miz in Seattle next week.

Freddy Peralta is pitching Saturday, and Jose Quintana is pitching on Sunday ... beyond that, I don't know.

That means they would be skipping a Patrick start and Peralta would be on 6-days rest on Friday as Thursday is an off day.  Same with Quintana.  I am assuming Patrick would be the backup starter or long man on Wednesday or Tuesday?  Then he would be back in the rotation the following week against the Cubs?  I think you would want to skip Priester’s start against the Cubs so that would matchup.
