Murphy said “need to wait and see” on Chourio’s injury, so we may not be totally out of the woods yet on it just being a spasm.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think the Brewers would approach “Aaron Rodgers vs the Bears” level of dominance against the Cubs. And it’s even sweeter with a disgusted Counsell having a front row seat.

Second in ML run differential +102, Cubs +106.

After all the Blue Jays noise last week, they're on a 4 game bender.  Baseball is hard.  This run is very incredible.

Tomorrow is a massive game.    A three game lead is a huge dent in the cubs plans.    A one game lead doesn’t mean much

kets get good Peralta tomorrow

It’s a big game if you look at it this way.

If the Brewers can win they can win the season series over the Cubs by winning  2 in the 5 game series at Wrigley.

With no game 163 anymore, having that tiebreaker could be the difference between a first round playoff bye and having to play in the wild card round

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

This turn around mid season seems unfathomable to me.    I’ve seen seen teams do a turn around like this but they were usually expected to win at some point

there is nothing saying the brewers should be the best team in baseball other than actually playing the games

The way we are playing a three game lead seems massive.     A tiebreaker might not even matter

The incredible numbers and the aggressive, confident play from the Crew is awesome. But, the glaring misfit player is Ortiz. Doesn’t the team owe Turang a shot at SS? Did you see how a trade for a catcher made Contreras go 2-4, walk and RBI? What if they place Collins at 2nd (his original trained position) and give Yelich more outfield and Contreras or a returned Hoskins the DH? Why not sweep the Cubs and go into the last place Nationals series with a new look with Ortiz on the bench?

Hamstring spasms

Know you're just reporting the facts, and this isn't directed at you or anybody in particular but I always tend to take early injury reports with a grain of salt especially when they come right at the trade deadline. Seems like you might not want to put anything out in the either that could show your hand, make you look desperate, or even overly comfortable.

But this could be a nonsense opinion that only makes sense in my head.

Turang has completely lost his focus

Conspiracy Theory:

they talked to him before the game about switching back to SS and it got in his head.

Hopefully Chourio knows his body well:

"My leg is a touch tight, but I feel good," Chourio said through an interpreter. "It felt more like a little tickle at first. The more I kept going, I was just hoping to get to third base there. Once I got there, more than anything, it felt like a cramp."

Rested bullpen for tomorrow

Let’s get the sweep

The Brewers have won 11 straight games started by Quinn Priester! 😁

One thing I love about Murphys' pressers is how he has a knack for pointing out good performances that aren't always noticed. Three very good ABs tonite between Durbin & Seigler. Seigler seemed a little miffed that he didn't go home in the 2nd inning on the ground ball, but probably made the correct decision.

Grown-man stuff by Priester getting through 5.2 innings w/o caving. If anyone had told me he'd display that kind of resolve after seeing his first 3-4 outings after being picked up I wouldn't have believed it. Just so much growth.

A perfect snapshot & camera angle after the Vaughn HR. The swing, the contact, the fans behind the 3rd base dugout getting excited. And in the background, a certain someone reaching to make a phone call.
