I finally got home and flipped the game on. They were up 4-0 when I left the fields tonight, and I just got to catch Vaughn go nuclear on that hanger. Holy smokes!

As soon as the Pirates dropped the double play ball you knew the crooked number was coming. And as soon as they got a few and Vaughn was up you knew what was coming.

I’ve never seen anything like it. I just hope this lasts 2 1/2 more months.

I have a company meeting tomorrow. When it comes Q and A time I'm asking the big guy if he's making a George Webb run. And I'm up in Sheboygan County.

I am afraid of peaking early but how do you know what the ceiling even is?

Yeah, you obviously can’t bottle this stuff and save it, one has to just take baseball fortune when it comes.

But even if they are half as good as this in October, they should be right there against anybody.

This might be the most fun Brewers season I’ve/we’ve ever seen.  Whatever happens in the playoffs happens.   If it turns out to be bad it will be disappointing but I’ll forever remember this.  I’m 46.  I teared up the other day when Collins walked off.  I’ve never done that before during a regular season game.  This has been truly incredible.

Tack on a few more and get Seigler up in the ‘pen, it’s time.

Crazy to have a Skenes start and we can seriously contemplate if we’re up enough to just have a position player pitch the 9th!

Cub fans are not very high on Counsell nowadays.

I'm not sure Murphy is a tactical genius or anything, but I think it's proof positive that Craig was a double agent all along that as soon as he left we get a manager who is going to win back-to-back NL Manager of the Year awards. Thank you Craig!! 😂

Anderson an underrated, at least by me, workhorse in this pen.

3.07 and near the top of the league in innings is quite the luxury for a non-leverage reliever.  Many teams cycle through a half dozen DFAs just finding a guy for that role who can get three outs without blowing up.

By the end of the night (once all MLB games are completed), Milwaukee will likely be #2 in both runs scored & runs allowed to go along with best overall record, best home record, & best road record

Maybe let Sal rest the hammy for the rest of this game?

Seriously, don't push it. He doesn't know how to go anything other than 100%.
