If you're batting average is around .200, that is very significant.

Let me rephrase.

I do not judge a player entirely based on that number. OPS, wRC+, etc are a lot more nuanced in determining who a player is. Average tells you something but it is extremely limited

Too funny that Bauers came through again today.  Good for him

couldn't watch today so not privy too much.  but saw no Yeli again.  Wonder if him to DL is gonna be the way to get Hoskins back as his deadline comes up.   lead back to 6.5 you can probably play it super safe

Yamamoto had a no hitter and a 3-0 lead with 2 outs in the ninth.

Holliday broke up the no hitter with an HR and Yamamoto left the game. The Orioles added 3 more to win 4-3.

Ashby vs Meyers who would you keep for playoffs?

Ashby vote #1  for me

Ashby is going to get leverage opportunities…….Myers isn’t even a lock to make the roster.

Single, hit batter, walk, walk, single……game over.

Wow.  That's hilarious actually.

I mean I wouldn't think it was too funny if it happened to the Brewers, but since it's LAD...

6.5 game lead on the cubs...but remember that they have the all important tiebreaker - which means its only like a 1.25 game cushion

Plus they have that super-soft schedule - last I checked they only have 2 or 3 games in the whole month of october!

Wow.  That's absurd.    Funny thing is for fantasy baseball, seemingly every time I have a starter leave a game with the lead the last month or so his pen blows the game.  I have Yamamoto.  I actually hadn't even checked it since he gave up the HR, figured it would be no problem over. then I saw this, crazy loss for them and the streak continues for me

The Giants led the Cardinals 2-0 in the 9th but lost, blowing a chance to move closer to the Mets.

This was really good day for me

Brewers win

Vanderbilt wins.

I am a Nashvillian, Packers stock holder, but also a huge Titans fan....

Vandy is my college team, we don't have many of these days,

Yes the Brewers lead is very solid, but it's a little hard not to look at were we are right now, and just play what if we snagged 1 of the close games with the Cubs and 1 more from the Phillies. The #1 seed would be all but guaranteed with 19 to play

Every team can say that though…….its all part of the season……you are going to lose close games against good teams………I always get more upset about blowing games late when we are leading…..like the Giants game

Ashby going to put on a pitching clinic in the post season. He could be our be our best reliever if he controls his 3 foot breaking curveball. Batters all rubber legs.

Aaron Ashby's curveball simply falls off a table 🫳 #MLB #Brewers #Baseball.

I know i'm late to the party, but it's good to see Bauers go yard last night. Hopefully that silences the critics on here for a bit.

Also, it just makes no sense to continue to use Ashby seemingly game after game. This was a 4-0 game against a bottom-feeding team in the league. No need to use Ashby last night!

Also weird to use Fedde for a few batters last night. As our long reliever, it would be nice for him to be available for today's game since Misiorowski will likely go five or fewer innings.
