Will tonight be more exciting, less exciting or about the same?

Right hander JT Ginn is apparently one of the best pitchers in the American League this season according to bWAR. This is Ginn’s second career start against Milwaukee. The first happening last year as the Brewers won that game 5-3 on April 18.

77.5% of batted balls against Robert Gasser are in the air this season (fly balls line drives, and pop-ups). That is 22 percentage points higher than league average. Gasser’s exit velocity allowed has been pretty good up to this point. So…🙂🤷‍♂️

12 inning games can wreak havoc with your bullpen (which Drohan is no longer a part of). With the way the Brewers use middle relievers, the loss of Hall was a sneaky bad hit. I'd think it's got to be Sproat or Crow tomorrow, so the other one could be used for multiple relief innings tonight or tomorrow. 

Just got to get through tonight and tomorrow's game to take a breath.

Rom and Kuhnel are preparing for the "throw a lot of pitches in two days and then get DFA'd" treatment.

With Patrick only throwing 8 pitches last night, have to think he's first up after Gasser and can give them at least 50 pitches.

You have Gasser, Crow, and Sproat to get length through the next 2 games. Off day Thursday then reset with Miz at home against Philly on Friday. With Ginn today then Perkins tomorrow.. on paper today is the "punt" game. If Gasser, Crow, Rom, and Kuhnel can get you through this game we will be alright as long as Sproat doesn't implode tomorrow.

Patrick has thrown two days in a row. I don't think he will be available tonight.

How about Gasser backed up by Crow tonight, then send one of them down to add backup for Sproat tomorrow.?

They have to be prepared to punt tonight’s game and hope to have most of the bullpen available tomorrow if the game is winnable.

Then hopefully get solid starts from Misiorowski, Drohan, and Harrison against the Phillies and between that and the bookend off days be in decent shape by Tuesday.
