Wednesday's Birthdays:

Nashville's Brock Wilken turns 24 today. Enjoy your day with the matinee action and family time in the evening, Brock.

Wisconsin RHP Bryan Rivera, on the IL for the past month with an undisclosed injury, turns 21. We wish the Nicaraguan native a good day and a hopeful quick return.

Small samples all around, but nice to see Adams putting up some numbers over his couple weeks back at Nashville since returning from injury.

Maybe they can get the field ready in time, but the Quad Cities is supposed to get about 6 straight hours of rain today. I wouldn’t be surprised if that game is postponed.

Regardless, I expect you there with rain gear, umbrella (and boat if need be) to report back in this here Game Thread. It is written.

I am aiming to make at least one game, but my daughter’s softball and family activities this week might limit it to that. Wish they were in town next week instead.

Ol’ reliable LHP Thomas Pannone (2.90 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, 6.7 K/9 in 40.1 IP) gets the early start, with Nashville needing a win to even the series 1-1 at Memphis. 1B Luke Adams’ AAA on-base streak is 19 games.

imo Jett couldve been the one called up if not for the slump last month. Looks like a fire has been lit but timing sucks for him

DSL blue has been putting on a power display of epic proportions in the early going. Frontado looking like a future star.

There is plenty of room on the Brewers roster today, right freaking now...

Bring Jett up too, plop him at 3B and see what happens!

Twelve runs on four hits beats eleven runs on eight hits.  Never change, DSL!

And all four hits went for extra bases. A double and three HRs.

On one hand, I think ISO as a whole is up about 25% in the DSL. On the other, Blue is blowing even the higher average out of the water and easily beating all of the other organizations with two teams.

Lara slumping a tad since signing the extension. Maybe the few game off in a row took him out of his groove a bit?

I could be wrong about this but I remember Pratt doing the same thing after he signed his? Someone can fact me on that. A little "prove it" pressure, maybe?
