PirateFan.net in full on meltdown mode...

Lead off double, catcher's interference, a soft tossing lefty with a 5+ ERA, then a a guy with an almost 10 ERA & we can't score a single run?!?!?!

TY Burnes. TY to the ump for the low strike zone.

Big 3 of 4. Before the 10 I felt it was time to go 7-3 in the next 10. Big series. 4-2 to go.

Great win today! Davies was masterful. Burnes with a great outing. Thames making a case to not lose playing time to Shaw. Combined with the pregame news of Nelson coming back to pitch Wednesday, mighty fine day.

[sarcasm]They probably should’ve hit a dinger instead of trying to move runners.[/sarcasm]

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Should tell Davies before every start he makes that the bullpen is depleted and he'll go 8 innings every time. The man can pitch.

Ballgame!

Exactly!!!

Any comment on the Brewers out scoring the Dodgers in the NLCS a season ago? Does that change the agenda?

Putting in the dude who has given up the most HR in baseball in a situation where a HR wins the game is, uh, gutsy.

There are now six MLB pitchers who have surrendered more HR than Corbin this year & five more who have surrendered the same amount of HR as Corbin.

Agendas never change.

Trust me when I say I want the guy to succeed but I'd guess 33.1 IP have something to do with that.

I'd say that getting taken out of the rotation probably helped him slide down the list a bit.

Out of respect for migraine sufferers everywhere, can we have a 48-hour moratorium on suggesting how urgent it is to get rid of a 1B with an .850 OPS to make room for 2 guys with a .600 OPS?

Agenda’s a popular word around here, so I guess I’ll use it too.

Game 7 vs dodgers we got shut down by their pitching.

24 runs in 7 games is less than 3 1/2 rpg by the crew.

Our bullpen almost won the series for us, right guys?

Your “agenda” seems to be whatever I believe, you believe the opposite. That’s the agenda I see here by a little more than a few.

But if I’m wrong and you don’t see any issues with being a team too reliant on the home run, fine then we’ll just agree to disagree. After all that is today’s mlb game, with the juiced ball and all. But the Braves can homer and manufacture runs, so can the dreaded dodgers, the Rockies even the cubbies. But not us, I guess we’re just to undisciplined an offense. But we can homer our way to lots of victories especially with our pitching and defense. At least until the playoffs when great pitching usually beats power hitters.

Some of you are addicted to being miserable. Go Brewers.

Watching to see if the Cardinals can close it out against the Cubs. Up 2-0, top of the 9th with 1 out, runners on 1st and 3rd. Adam Wainwright pitched 8 shutout innings, despite 7 walks.

I feel dirty cheering for the Cardinals, but in this scenario I think it's acceptable.
