Seeing that they are playing the Royals, I'd bet Cain is activated today, and we'll see him out in CF.

Looks about right, but it's too bad that we have to sit Peterson vs the LHP (.318). And I thought Tellez had better splits vs LHPs. Rowdy is 261 vs LHP and Keston is 109 vs LHP.

Had great seats for tonight, but the time change really messed up my plans. Nice that the Brewers gave a credit for my tickets. One advantage of not buying through StubHub.

As was discussed in the game thread when the Brewers faced Miley, the Brewers haven’t gone up against that many left handed starters this year, and they have had less success scoring and winning in games started by lefties than righties.

 

Minor has been roughed up pretty good lately. Hopefully the Brewers can get to him and put up some runs early.

Yeah our lineup looks a lot better with Narvaez and Peterson in there over Pina and Hiura but hopefully we can put up some runs against a pretty crappy pitcher.

I see that now. I wonder if they are going to hold off on activating Cain until closer to the trade deadline? Might be some roster construction issues in play soon.

Hiura was able to lay off the high pitches that at bat, but still amazed to see the swing throughs on pitches well in the zone.

I think your numbers are off a bit. He has 31 ABs in July alone and is .194/.306/.290.

 

His slugging has been okay since he was recalled because there are 4 doubles and 3 homers in there, but he's also struck out 16 times in 31 at bats in July (and 14 times in 33 at bats in June). Sadly it is an improvement over where he was in April and May.
