Woodruff doesn’t have it tonight.

Still hasn’t really gotten the ball Rolling this year.  Hopefully the meds are working and this is just poor command that will be fixed eventually.

Every time watching games in this park I can't help but think how crazy it is Bonds broke all those records with that deep right field.  Yea I know, PEDs, but still.     Also a bit surprising knowing he was their star that they chose to build the right field that way.   Imagine if he was in the current Yankee's right field instead.    Even knowing the PED stuff it's insane what Bonds did for those years.

Incredible. Never faced a player that inspired more fear as an opposing fan. Even among ridiculous numbers, Bonds' numbers are ridiculous.

These right field line pop ups are fun to watch...

Easy decision going to bed early tonight.

If the Brewers make a game of it it won’t be over until 1 AM at this pace.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

No need to go down that wormhole.    If anything it's at least a testament to modern science, haha.  Heck, think what they could now 20 years later

That is what video games are for ... build your own player who hits 73 homers!

Just noticed that Yelich has exactly 17.5 career WAR each with the Marlins & Brewers.

Took 500 fewer PAs to get there with the Brewers, but a little more evenly distributed with the Marlins (1.6, 3.8, 3.6, 4.9, 3.7 seasonal WARs) vs 7.3, 7.0, 0.5, 1.2, 1.7 (so far) with the Crew.

Here’s a somewhat depressing contemplation, Braun has 47 career WAR & was at 35.9 through age 30. Will Yelich finish his career with a higher WAR than Braun? Needs to essentially average 2 WAR a year from here on out.

He may not be able to get a ball out of the infield, but Davis does have a .361 OBP out of the 9 spot.  ?‍♂️

Davis is a very nice player in this lineup!

I gotta feel like Yelich's on-base skills will get him past Braun by a decent margin. Plus, he'll benefit from being a lefty at MP (I know, I know). It's a good question for a late-night game.

Glad to escape that inning.  Nice contrast with Urias holding on the cheap contact then handling the DP ball vs. the Giants defensive issues in the top half.
