We will be rollin' with Colin!

We will win and it won't have to be stolen!

Dakota is in the wrong state

Don't take the bait

There will be no Rockies upset on this date!

2-11 in 16 starts - that's kind of impressive, actually. I don't know what the Rockies' situation is with SPs, but to keep running him Hudson out there seems a bit futile, wouldn't you think? Has there been a 20-game loser recently?

Mike Maroth went 9-21 for the 2003 Tigers.

Closest since then has been Chris Archer and James Shields, who both lost 19 games in 2016.

From May 21st - Aug 26th, 1988, Chris Bosio started 13 games and was brought in as a reliever for 3. He had a record of 0 - 11 and the Brewers went 1 - 15.

That has nothing to do with anything, but I remembered him having a long stretch of sadness so I looked it up.

That was one of the strangest year's for a starting pitcher that I can remember. Started the year strong, had nine complete games which led the team and even had an ERA under two heading into late May. Then he had that long losing streak and even ended up as the closer in September.

So six innings of two run ball tonight then?

Brewers historically do struggle against underachieving pitchers. Hope their current lineup doesn't follow suit.

You mean struggle like they did last night when they needed some pretty big breaks and gifts to squeeze out 4 runs against a pitcher with an ERA close to 6.00?

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Don't sweat!

Don't fret!

This is an easy bet!

Maybe that is why they pick up underachieving pitchers.

I don't know how you keep Chourio out of the lineup right now, but okay. Of course, I also didn't see how you could pinch hit for him the other night, so.....

Are players not allowed to have off days? He's had two awkward collisions into the wall these last two days.

Meh, unless he is feeling beat up because of that, he needs to play.

Ridiculous.

At the very least, he should be DHing to keep his bat in the line-up.

He's 20 years old and has had more off days than every primary starter, with the all-star break coming up in less than two weeks....Keep in mind, this is also the same team that refuses to give Adames and Contreras days off.

Unless he is suffering after effects from those collisions, he should be in the lineup as the team's hottest hitter and one of its best fielders against a favorable pitcher.

He’s had 1 complete day off since June 1st

I think it’s fine

He's also gotten less ABs than Sal Frelick during that timeframe. I'm not sure that's fine.

32 year old Christian Yelich, for example, hasn't gotten any days off.

10 at bats less? Also Frelick has a better average 30 points higher.  You make it sound like Chourio is a .320 hitter.  .248 is his AVG.

What is his average the past 2 or 3 weeks?

😀

.333 is his avg. last 2 weeks which is a good point but a nice rested Chourio against the Dodgers is fine with me.

Ok then, Wiemer should be starting today.
