Nah, Miz should go.

Misiorowski, Durbin, Collins, Patrick, and a bit of Henderson seems an outsized list of rookies contributing for a contending team.  That's the way to do it when you can't dish out a hundred million much less a billion on free agents in an offseason.

Im sure I've told this story, but my wife and I went to game 1 of the NLCS in 18.   We both smoked at the time so I said to her in the middle of the 3rd, "Let's go smoke quick, we'll only miss the pitcher batting".

The crowd notified us that I had made a poor suggestion.

I was sitting next to a group of four (two husbands and two wives) and one of the wives said oh Woodruff hit a HR this year, maybe he hits a HR here. I turned to her and said no chance he hits a HR off Kershaw. I was so confident that I said if he does, I'll buy beers for all four of you. Probably the best 4 beers I've bought in my life.

Feel like Uribe is more deserving and would have a better shot. Not that I'd exactly be downtrodden if he had the entire all-star break to rest.

Brewers 2.7 rookie position player WAR is 3rd in MLB, 1st in NL this year.

Brewers 2.3 rookie pitcher rWAR was 2nd in MLB, 1st in NL before Misio’s dominance tonight.

Going back to Arnold’s first year at the helm in 2023 Brewers 13.7 rookie position player WAR is 1st in MLB, their 8.6 rookie pitcher rWAR is 5th, and their 22.3 total rookie WAR is also 1st, about four wins ahead of the Dodgers in second.

They're as bad as Bally was.  Same issue here.

On Father's Day weekend, MLB.TV had a 50% off sale for the rest of the season.  Thought about it as I wasn't sure how much I'd be able to watch, but I pulled the trigger.  Being in Denver there are only three games I get blacked out.

WAY, WAY better viewing experience than Bally's last year.  I especially like that the skip forward is only 10 seconds and doesn't require a second button push to resume play, allowing me to skip forward between pitches almost every pitch.

Did Koenig drop it below 100?

I know you're joking but Koenig actually had more velo than Uribe tonight. Topped out at 99.5 which was the hardest pitch of his career.

Anyone think we'd be the flame throwing Brewers 20 years ago watching Curtis Leskanek and Derrick Turnbow "throwing gas" at 95-96mph out of the pen closing games out? That is impressive man.

We were at the game and I saw 101 for Megill.  I don't remember him hitting 101 this year at all.

After the leadoff bomb to Ohtani, Miz made a roster full of all stars look like beer league hitters - when you have Freddie Freeman making defensive swings and mlb hitters just praying offspeed stuff doesnt stay in the zone, you're some kind of special.

This team keeps finding ways to be a really fun watch - helps being absolutely loaded with pitching right now.

It has been a long time since the Brewers were must-see TV just due to the SP pitching matchups.  And then suddenly we've had a few of them!

Ironically, I didn't actually watch the game today until the bottom of the 8th inning... but I did listen to the game while mowing.

Nice win again tonight.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Remember that they have changed how and where they measured from back in those days.  Thus, everyone gained 3-4 MPH.

Absolutely!  Seeing mid 90s pitches breaking in feet, not inches, is pure visual joy to a baseball fan.

It doesn't get much better in professional sports than witnessing electric pitchers.

Maybe the Mis?

Nope…..let him rest up for the 2nd half……he only has limited bullets to throw this season….,,,,

Arguably it's Uribe that should go anyway over both of them. It'd be fun spectacle for Miz to mow down AL All Stars, but if he keeps this up he'll have no shortage of opportunities.
