I assume you just never get attached to your prospects because you know they're never going to make it to the bigs with your team anyway.

Nothing earth shattering has happened from the Brewers point of view. Cubs have done essentially nothing. Padres aren't our problem to deal with until playoffs. Rest of the NL has made only subtle moves.

Thanks to the Brewers mutilating the Dodgers, Preller is smelling blood in the water.

The thing is we just had a draft. I am assuming 12 of the guys who signed are considered prospects correct? We just got 12 more prospects to add to the 30 plus we have and we can't sell off 2-3 for a win now move? Not only can't we play in free agency but we can't trade either? Arnold please I beg you bro. I can't do two more months of Ortiz.

I think it's more along the lines of smelling the fact if the Padres don't win it all this season, he's done generally managing baseball teams at the MLB level.  So he has zero care of what that organization looks like 3 months from now.

Durbin has a 791 OPS since mid May. Just sayin'

They should buy low on Mookie Betts. Milwaukee is great bowling city.

Sell Betts on the trade by reminding him that he'll never having to worry about staying in the Pfister Hotel again.

Monasterio, Bauers, Siegler, and at least one bullpen spot are all zero argument spots we could upgrade at without mortgaging the future. If this next hour passes without anything after what has transpired around the league, fans should raise hell

Fan base has to feel like they care

Who is "they"?  That team may beat the Twins getting sold so Seidler's kids can cash in if they can stop fighting amongst each other for controlling interest.

Or not. The Brewers are 20 games over 0.500. Is this purely all luck?

100 percent. Add Ortiz to this list also.

There really isn’t an upgrade to Ortiz on the known market at best you are looking at IKF and he is basically Ortiz.

Based on record, the Brewers are the best team in Major League Baseball. Other teams are making trades to compete with them. I'm NOT saying they couldn't improve either, but let's not act like we're getting left in the dust because Arnold won't pull the trigger on anything.

What does luck have to do with it. There are obvious areas of upgrade along the margins and better their chances of advancing in the playoffs. We have all seen them win the division and make the playoffs before. If they think they needed to upgrade catcher they have to know they are pretty thin elsewhere.

People keep saying move Collins to second and turang to SS they tried that in spring training his shoulder physically can’t handle it it would have to be Durbin whuch means you gotta get a 3rd basemen or put Collins there so Austin Riley is the best option probably better then Suarez honestly
