Dill with a “pouring it on” reference. Does he read the forum?

Rottino, but yeah, I was thinking the same thing.

Whoever mentioned earlier in the series that the Brewers would be fine as long as they got to the Nationals’ bullpen fast, well there is the normal being right and then whatever this is.

If lockridge turns out to have the impact  Vaughn had people are going to take brewers front office making deals with the devil seriously.     Or no one will ever trade with us again

Today is Seigler’s seventh start at 3B this year, results of those first six games were…

0702 at NYM
(W) 7 to 2

0702 at NYM
(L) 3 to 7

0713 vs WAS
(W) 8 to 1

0721 at SEA
(W) 6 to 0

0723 at SEA
(W) 10 to 2

0729 vs CHI
(W) 9 to 3

So, 5 W - 1 L with a +28 run differential before today.

People hating on Lockridge the first day look silly now

He’s had several 100+ mph EV outs as well this series

It's not deals with the devil...

It's Uecker magic.

That time when he didn't know if he was peeing... they bottled that... whatever liquid it was... and they use it to sign all contracts and trades now.

Dealing with Milwaukee is going to become a fascinating game of cat and mouse. The proper response by another team will be that if we ask for a player, they need to hang on to that player like grim death and completely rethink their approach to that player's development. Consequently, Arnold and team will need to shift approach and start faking teams out by making their first proposal the players they actually don't want to acquire, and only pivot to their real target after the other team initially balks.

Arnold is already playing 3D chess, so this should not be a difficult transition.

Of course those results would have been the same if they had played me at third base.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

It has been amazing. Small sample but, Vaughn, Perkins, and Lockridge have all outhit the players they replaced (Hoskins/Bauers, Frelick, Chuourio).  Hope they can keep this up.

Right, which is a perfect example why getting bent out of shape about batting orders before games is pointless…especially with this year’s team.

So he is our mojo like Austin Powers then.

Truly, there will be a point pretty soon where an opposing GM will call us asking about a trade just to hear the names that we are interested in so that they can lock those guys up to long-term deals.

It’s kind of like when urban Meyer said just find out who Wisconsin is recruiting at running back and go get them
