It’s incredible to see this come to fruition for the organization.

I’ll stump for Andrew Fischer. These lists certainly expose some of the limitations of the “national prospect pundit”. Andrew Fischer belongs in the top 25 of any top 100 list but folks are spooked by the K rate. Normally that would track, but as we know from the recent interview Andrew did, nobody on the Brewers side of the fence seems too concerned. It’s practically by design, simply a byproduct of a new-age approach to swingmaxxing from Brewers offensive dev.

Wow.  So the organization has anywhere from 5-7 top 100 prospects, with the general consensus #1 overall, and last years #1 pick still absent from these lists despite 20+ HR (is he at 24 or 26 total?) before 4th of July.  With 30 teams ~3 per organization would be normal, so this is clearly disproportionate and we have double the number of top 100 prospects than would be expected, and several who have a chance to make it (Fischer, Payne, Hardin, Dinges, Letson) if they progress or continue to do well and improve on the few flaws they have.

I still contend the 2001-2008 era was the golden age of Brewer prospects driven by a lot of high draft picks (Sheet, Hardy, Weeks, Fielder, Braun, Hart) all overlapping for a wonderful stretch of 2006-2011 when the team went from perennial last place finisher to >.500/borderline playoff club to NLCS particpants.

If that was the golden age, then 2021-current may be the Industrial Revolution of the Brewers player development since being top 5 organization with 5+ top 100 prospects is happening AFTER already seeing Chourio and Miz both graduate and become key players on the team already.

A lot of clubs have that "top system" award and then a couple of guys make it to the bigs and then they are top 10 and then fall lower.  This has been since 2022 on a consistent top 10 organization with multiple top 3 and no immediate sign of slowing down this year or probably next....

Payne's now on the board(at least BAs).

Seems kinda obvious now. 6'2 lefty with 70 speed hitting for that type of power. Did he go to Moeller High School in Cincy by the way or am I confusing him with someone else?

And yes, not only are they lapping the field, the fact that Frias is showing up on BAs list is... pretty incredible. He's just getting started!

Payne is from Texas. Believe he went to the same school as like Chris Carpenter

Frias being there is crazy. This feels like Made all over again ... having a DSL kid on the list (I know he graduated up)... I don't have access - how many other DSL players are on the list if any?

There's definitely an impact on how fast Brewers prospects catch the helium based on our reputation now. We'd have heard noise about a guy like Frias 5 years ago, and 'keep an eye' comments, but no way he'd be in the top 100.

Watched episode 1 of “Road to the Show” on Peacock featuring Jesus Made and 5 other prospects including likely 2026 #1 pick Roch Cholowsky and Ethan Holliday, pretty basic stuff but plenty of cool footage of Made in Spring Training and some insight on his character and mindset, will be watching each episode released

Nine prospects in the MLB top 100 is great.  "Bravo!" to the Brewers scouts and development organization.

Bravo to all of their teachers. I used to marvel at 18-year old basketball players becoming millionaires overnight and still being able to keep their heads enough that they became KG, King James, or Black Mamba.

In baseball --- as neurotic a sport that there is --- I'm amazed that these Latin kids (and every prospect, really, regardless of where they are from), are able to perform with the sheer volume of attention they get as 18-year olds that look up to 21-year olds. The language side of things is one part of it, but also just the cultural whiplash it must be for them. The pressures of capitalizing on their fame.

The Brewers must have excellent, excellent staffing at every level, and must truly value the persons beyond the players. If people push for their maximum, in the hyper-competitive space of pro sports, it requires incredible support for them when they inevitably fail or struggle on their journey.

Obviously, family and friends play the most important role of support, and I'm sure there are examples of players being dissatisfied with how the team treated them, but from an outsider view, it sure looks like they are doing a lot right to help players reach their career goals, while managing all of the off-the-field stuff that comes with the job.

This is precisely why I was lightly poking fun of our BF Top 20 Prospect Voting Community (BFTTPVC 😁) for (a) not even having Frias in the voting pool - rightfully, they now do (b) not voting him into their Top 20 until this month. Anywho, glad the voters woke up some. 18 is still much too Low.

If you could hear how the industry scouts talked and talk about his tools you would understand why I was laughing.

I know... I was being a bit hyperbolic and you may be younger or maybe it wasn't as well known as I thought, but a certain Left Handed CF'er who was... pretty well known in some circles was 6'3, robbed a HR or 20, hit for power... was a 1st rd pick out of HS from Moeller HS... and for some reason, it was REALLY well known and talked about quite often({I guess the trade to the Reds).

And I understand this is like comparing... Dinges to Ivan Rodriguez or... ya know, any prospect to a player he will almost never come close to, but I see SOME comparisons and if his hit tool/plate discipline can reach 50 and the power is legit, with his speed... you can dream on what he could become. His value may actually be capped by having Lara in CF and him most likely moving to LF due to his arm strength(or lack thereof).

Anyway, that's what I was saying(not very clearly apparently).
