I think it's all hands on deck for the bullpen. They get a day off to rest after today. Uribe, Ashby, Hall are all in play, IMO. Uribe threw three days in a row against LA.

Uh,  they have 3 months off after tonight...just sayin.

Now that we know, I am feeling good about facing him again.  Force him to locate, drive that pitch count up!  Let's go!!!!

I can't imagine they will stretch him out any more than 50-60 pitches going on 3 days rest. He's never gone on short rest in his career, and as we know, he has quite the injury history. Gotta work counts and hopefully get into that pen by the 4th.

When the Rays won last night, you'd swear they had won the World Series.

When the Brewers won games 1-3, you'd swear they'd won a baseball game.

I'm not sure the Rays have a lot left in the tank, physically or mentally.

The Brewers didn't execute at all well last night and it still took 12 innings to beat them.

As lovely as it would be for a WS winning game 6 on home turf, the Crew should get it done tonight. Besides, the Rays would need to create a bit of history to take things one game further.

Funny thing baseball, you just never know what's going to happen.

Drew Rasmussen will start Game 5 of the World Series against the Brewers

The Rays have their backs up against the wall, so they will now turn to their ace, Drew Rasmussen, to start Game 5. Rasmussen just threw 3 2/3 innings on Saturday night, so he will come into this one on just three days’ rest. With that in mind, it’s unlikely that Rasmussen pitches deep into this game, but the Rays will help that he can keep the Brewers off the board in the first few innings and give them the chance to build a lead they can hand over to the bullpen.

What this screams out to me is this: Their starters from here on out are all going on 3 days rest for as long as the series lasts. Of course they could monkey around with that by using someone else, or using an opener. I'm assuming Rasmussen, Peralta, Jax/Martinez. If the Brewers go according to Hoyle with their starters it's 4 days, 5 days, & 4 days. To me that's significant. It's kinda like someone being down to their last few chips & drawing an inside straight to stay alive, and the opponent shrugs & says "Fine. let's see you do it again. And then, again. Oh, and the last two hands are on our table."

Not to say the series is over. But there's an advantage here.

I'd also like to know how Caminero is feeling. Not what they're telling the populace, but how he's really feeling.

To be fair, they did walk off a long extra innings game to stay alive.

That might be the strangest thing of all to me. They've done some very un-Brewer like things in the post season but are still 10-2.

Hes going to play, he's going to run full force, but he's definitely a twing away from on the IL

Might need to lay down a bunt or two just to see how well he can move

I feel really good about tonight, the team, and everything Brewer related. They have been the best team this year and really outplayed the Rays last night. Ball didn’t drop in their favor. Hit the ball hard like last night and they will walk with the title. I get that pessimism runs deep for some fans however the Brewers are just better.

This. I’m just feeling so much better about our pitching than theirs at the moment. Along with the reality that we crushed so many balls and they didn’t find the open space…..that’s not going to last. I’m hopeful tonight’s the night and good things happen and we’re partying tonight.

what is the point of rostering Harrison if he's never going to pitch?

Maybe Murph has a cunning plan? (If you're not a fan of English comedy this might go over most folks' heads)

We need Miz to throw a complete game shutout and the offense to score 15 runs. That's a winning formula imo.

Tonight will be the fourth time in my life that I have tuned into a Brewers game in which they had a chance to win the World Series.

Until they actually win one I am going to question whether it is ever going to happen.

We have a player who Murph told “crush a home run and I promise you later on they’ll give you something you can bunt”

Everyone here is a fan of at least one (and probably more) Wisconsin sports teams, so I get that there’s going to be some facing down the demons this morning. There’s a lot of recent postseason history there, and most of it is bad.

I don't follow NFL or NBA but I do know all about postseason tragedy.

The team I follow in the Australian Football League is famous for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, more often than not in the most heartbreaking of circumstances. In 12 attempts in the championship game they lost 9 times, and that's just in my lifetime, but those three victories are some of the happiest sporting memories I cherish.

Chins up everyone. Let's get this thing done tonight 😃

A lot depends on whether he can get his cutter/slider/curveball over for a strike. If he can mix speed with those pitches, he'll be tough for several innings.

How fitting would it be for Miz to pitch an absolute gem and go the distance. In reality, he probably goes four or five innings and gives up a run or two. Need the offense to take advantage of the Rays pitching situation.

I love this.

Just saw some of the neighborhood kids playing catch and asked who they thought would win tonight. The Cardinals fan said, "Milwaukee! I want Milwaukee to win the whole thing!"

That has nothing to do with how this series turns out, but it did help restore a little joy. The joy along the way is the whole point.

Go Crew! If we win, I'll be back after the game. If not, we'll soldier on, finding the joy in being part of October 28th baseball, and hoping it turns out better back at home.

Here's to all of you!

Winning tonight would be ideal, but you never know with baseball and we just need to get Rasmussen out early and run up bullpen pitch counts again so that if a game 6 is played, we'll have another huge pitching advantage.

I feel better about today than yesterday, this team is so damn resilient that you know they are going to get down to business and be sharp tonight and they won't have another night of terrible batted ball luck.
