Had a gut-sinking feeling watching Chacin give up the 3-run inning, but thrilled to watch the team rally back & hang on to the win.

 

Worried about Hader racking up multiple inning saves (while JJ is on the shelf), but it’s too early to call anything a trend.

 

Also, Yelich & Moose are on pace to hit 162 HRs each, which I’m pretty sure would be a record. (...just to make the recurring Opening Day joke.)

 

Happy to have Baseball back.

Even more amazing is that Kolten Wong is going to hit 324 HRs this season despite only having 41 over his first 6 seasons. Despite the monstrous season, Wong likely won't win many MVP votes since his team is going to lose every single game. Such a pity...

Does anyone have a tip for listening to the radio broadcast on your phone through an app or otherwise ? I downloaded the WTMJ app and am disappointed the game is not on there.

 

The game isn't on there because MLB sells the radio broadcasts and tv broadcasts. Download the mlb at bat ap and I think the radio version is something like $20 bucks for all the games for all the teams for the season. I live out of market so the mlb.tv is sweet for me and well worth the $120 but if you live in Wisconsin the tv is blacked out but the radio broadcasts are not.

Didn’t get to see it live, but caught pieces on the radio. Great way to start the season, and this IGT is classic. You guys are in mid-season form.

The honestly was a summation of the entire 2018 season in a game.

 

Shaky but solid starting pitching = check

An all-or-nothing offense dependent on HRs = check

Timely hitting from Yelich = check

A dominant Josh Hader in his first inning, followed by some well-struck balls in his 2nd = check

Baseball magic/luck (Chacin HR and Cain leaping grab) = check

 

Yep, sounds about right :)

I mean 2 innings so I would expect him to miss the rest of the series.
