With the Cubs forced to play the Cards seven times yet, I'm cautiously optimistic to say we have the pole position for that last wild card right now. Absolutely huge hit. What a player he has been.

7 for 47 with a huge donger to help save the season much like his blast a few nights back in Miami. Had a big double against the Cubs in that series as well. He’s old. He’s streaky. He’s hurting. But he’s as clutch as they come and we are going to need more of it because this team lacks it.
