Gonna be a tough one tonight. The Brewers are starting Miley while the Mets are putting Scherzer on the mound.

This is so much better than all the times we just had to root not to get no hit.

Nice not being on no hit alert three times a week.

It's not that his call was different than normal, it was just that one is good, two is even better, and three in a row is party on.

Just like an ice cream cone.  The 2nd and third scoops are the same as the first... but it's three scoops of ice cream.

Listening to him at other times isn’t always so great.

I was in the car early in yesterday’s game and he was talking so much about the pitch clock and things like that that he was missing half the pitches.

😂 Have you never listened to Uke before? He's been doing that for the 40 years I've listened to him.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

relying too much on home runs

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

When do we give Mitchell a quarter billion and Anderson a half billion?

I don’t know, but Anderson has pretty much earned his 3.5 for the year.

Have the Brewers ever had two guys hit back to back HRs in consecutive innings?

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Turang’s first ab. Uecker said, “He pops it up!” And never mentioned if the ball was caught, was a foul, or if it ever landed at all.

"Go ahead. Try to disagree with me. I dare you." Jeffrey Leonard.

Maybe Braun and fielder at some point?

Yah, even people that listen to him every year a bunch admit he has been spiraling the past few years.

He is past due to retire.

I was wondering if the same 3 guys would do it twice.

Questions are a burden.   And answers a prison for one's self.

He has done this 3x/game for the last 8 years.

I found it aggravating for the first 2 seasons I noticed he was doing it, then became fond of the 'aloofness' the same way I like listening to my grandfather try to tell a story.

That is no knock on anyone. I care about Uecker more than most of my family.

I think it's safe now to say we've shut out the Mets for 17innings. The streamer has it at 19 straight overall now.  The commenters are freaking out the streamer is doing his best to basically say relax. Someone told him to end his stream, streamer said you can leave bandwagon fan, I'm here through good or bad. Good guy.

Whodathunk money didn't buy easy wins?

For at least the last 25 years, at the beginning of the season people say Uecker is starting to lose it and will likely retire within the next couple years.

I'd be surprised if the trio of Jenkins, Sexton, and Burnitz didn't pull it off. Didn't Sexton/Burnett hit 5-7HRs in 1 game vs Diamondbacks?
