Not only do Brewers have no offense but then Yelich has the best seat in the house and can't play. Anderson is helping the training staff. How is Counsell supposed to make moves with no bench?

You should ask Arnold.

I hate the Cardinals. But the fact is, right now, the Brewers are a better organization. And in better long-term position.

I refuse to get worked up about Wainwright achieving a "milestone"  that is meaningless in the current context of baseball. It actually says a lot about the Cardinals (or maybe just what a total joke their season has been) that anyone cares about a guy getting 200 career wins.

Of course, it sure would be nice if we could look at all respectable offensively.

It’s just so maddening to continue to pitch like this and still probably lose.

Why are you surprised, it has been like this all year.

Counsell is up a creek currently unless he is specifically asking for Anderson to stick around Brewers need another usable part. Even Owen Miller would add a little value. Expanded roster is still short handed is ridiculous.

Disagree. 200 wins is pretty special. Outside of Cole, I have no clue who would be the next person to get to that milestone. Perhaps nobody.

That's cool. I just think it's rare rather than "special." And I think it's rare because wins are about the least important indicator of a pitcher's ability.

I am also not big on round-number bias. The difference between 199 wins and 200 is psychological.

I mean, sure, but he’s not even cracking the top-100 winningest pitchers with that figure.  Heck, Tim Wakefield got 200 wins.  At that point it’s an Ironman award more than anything else.

A run here it's game over.

It was over by fifth inning.    You can just tell when the brewers can’t do anything

Ask Brewers pitchers about wins. They all have 6-7 fewer than they should because they can't get any support.

If we don’t find a way to score it will be our 5th 1-0 loss of the season.

How many games have we won 1-0?

The organization needs to completely revamp how they evaluate hitters because they are terrible at it. The pitching lab has done wonders now it’s time to focus some on offense.
