Hell of a run, but crushing defeat! I am excited to see what this team will look like next year, and what they can do.

Does Williams get the Grisham treatment and sent out of town?

He was going to be traded no matter what happened in all likelihood

Feel bad for Ueck. Really wanted the Brewers to win one for him one of these years as he has invested so much into this organization.  Who knows how long he will be on the call any longer 😢

I feel a lot worse for the fans who have invested time, money, and emotional energy into the franchise for over half a century than for someone who has made millions of dollars performing a dream job.

Lol if you couldn’t see that Williams was missing terribly then that’s on you

It's not on me that you're clearly having an emotionally irrational response to what happened.

Numerous posts into this and you still haven't suggested who should have been brought in instead other than to say that someone else should have brought in to face Winker when the score was already 3-2 and the damage done.

What an incredibly weird take

Yeah, I agree I wish they could get it done just once for Ueck.

I think if you asked Ueck though, he's had a wonderful life and his legacy and journey in it won't be defined by whether or not he sees the Brewers win a World Series in his lifetime.

Sure but that's not what was presented.

There were a whole page of posts of people that felt good that Devin was going to come in and slam the door easily, which unfortunately did not happen.

Lindor was the guy.  I truly believed and said if he gets on, at best we would be tied going into the bottom.  It ended being worse than I thought.

This year was supposed to be Hoskins’ big return from his knee injury. I was all in when he brought that Big D energy to the first series against the Mets making the crying face to Jeff McNeil. It was exactly what this team needed after CC left in the middle of the night. It all seemed perfect. And Hoskins expected to get a huge contract somewhere this upcoming off-season. But, as it turns out, he will now become a 1-year rental journeyman and will play for a dozen teams as his career slowly flames out.

It’s also on you that your reading comprehension is limited enough that you seem to think I ever said Williams shouldn’t have been put in. And it started just because I included Murphy in the list of failures AFTER Williams and 1/2 of the lineup.

But you don’t seem to think Williams needed to be settled down and he wasn’t missing by that much so I guess there’s nothing a manager could do. And the only reason anybody me could disagree with you is emotions, or something

I think that was going to happen regardless of his chokejob.

He has a player option for next season……so he very well might be on our team again

No he will return with his player option for 2025, unfortunately

I would have absolutely been ok if Lindor rips a middle/middle get me over 3-2 pitch. You can't walk the leadoff man in a 2-0 game. Make him beat you.

I think one thing that's clear is that this playoff format sucks and needs to be revised. You're absolutely screwing over the teams that actually win their division over a 162 game season. Home field is not enough in baseball.

I think the obvious solution is that division winners should only have to win one game to advance, while the Wild Card teams need to win two.

Literally your exact words in the first post on page 33.

Nah, we are stuck with him for a second year...  I can only hope that one more year after surgery, he comes back and has a good year.

Damn. A loss like this really brings some incredible responses by some. I love this team and have been very invested, but maybe not to Brewerfanatic levels!!!

Maybe they can find a team stupid enough to take him off our hands.

Of course, leave it to a guy who grew up a Cardinals fan from the St. Louis area to absolutely **** us.  Unbelievable.  It always comes back somehow, someway to the Cardinals.

Damn you Cardinals!  Damn you all to hell!!

I've managed to make myself apathetic to Badger game results. Unfortunately have not figured out how to emotionally disconnect from the Brewers or Packers.
