Pretty brutal August and September schedule. From July 31st to the end of the season the Brewers have 5 total off days with a 17 in 17 and 16 in 16 stretch.

Games played in Vegas next year, interesting.

In addition to what you said on the last two months, those are generally against what should be good teams too. Other than Pit

Also, I will never get why they schedule the off day after opening day for teams with a dome.  So MKE is denied a Friday home opener again.

Just noticed they also have a 17 in 17 from June 26th to July 12th. So that's a 16 in 16 and two 17 in 17 stretches during the season.

Brewers have as many off days in March/April and May (10) as they do in June, July, August, and September combined not counting the ASB.

For reference I believe we have only 6 days off during that same stretch this year.

I will say that September next year is all "local" relatively speaking ... PA/Balt being the longest flights. Not like this year where we are all over the country still in Sept. Not sure if that is a win or not but it is something.

When I looked at the schedule from the beginning I thought the Brewers had been transferred to the American League.

First four series and 6 of the first 8 are against AL teams.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Are these long stretches where we play every day balanced for all teams every couple years? Or are they making it harder for us to be good next year? I think the last couple years we've had a lot of off days in September compared to other teams so maybe it's just balancing out.

It's one thing to be optimistic but that borders on myopic. The way the schedule is set up there are bound to be two or three losses in along the way.

Predicting strength of schedule a year out is always a bit dicey. There’s a whole offseason yet to happen, some teams will surprisingly impress, some will surprisingly disappoint, etc. I imagine most would have projected the Orioles and Diamondbacks to be a tough part of the schedule last year.

Not a big deal, but I noticed that too. Very strange.

I'm not nuts about a 10-game road trip in front of the ASB either.

Which is part of a 17 in 17 stretch.

It's certainly a tough schedule in terms of lack of off days from June 1st to the end of the year. You have two 17 in 17 and a 16 in 16. Also have 2 week long west coast road trips in a span of 3 weeks.

At least the 17 in a row in August is virtually guaranteed to not need any rain-caused doubleheaders.

Ha great point with the games either being at home or in LA/SanDiego.

Got curious looking at those long stretches with zero days off for the Crew next season. Here's how they stack up against some of the other NL contenders next year as far as longest stretches of games without an off day:

Brewers

(1) 13 games in 13 days stretch

(1) 16 games in 16 days stretch

(2) 17 games in 17 days stretches

Cubs

(4) 13 games in 13 days stretches

Dodgers

(4) 13 games in 13 days stretches

Phillies

(3) 13 games in 13 days stretches

Padres

(1) 16 games in 16 days stretch

(1) 17 games in 17 days stretch

Mets

(1) 12 games in 12 days stretch

(1) 16 games in 16 days stretch

Brewers definitely drew the unfortunate schedule in terms of that.

False, the Minnesota and pirates series could both have a double header from rainouts in may or july

Feels like the days of the old schedule with 19 games vs division rivals

Kind of interesting that the Athletics will play most of their games in Sacramento in 2026 but the Brewers series will be in Vegas. Think I will head out to that series.
