Yep, nothing to gain.  Not really a difference between 6 and 7, but if he goes out and loses his control now you can ruin the vibe of a good start.

My guess is that with an off day Thursday and the following Monday they might skip his next turn or push him to next Tuesday.

I don't know how the rotation will shake out the next 10 days but I'm going to the game on the 18th.
