Brewers proving that a win is a win, no matter who you beat, and no amount of skepticism over the Pirates’ “easy opponents” can erase the memory of the crap series I just watched Milwaukee play.

It really is starting to look like the NL Central is going to be a dog of a division this season, with the winner likely winding up with between 85-90 wins and most of the division under the .500 mark - for as frustrating as watching the Brewers revert to a substandard offense with inconsistent pitching circa 2022, at least we're not off to the start the Cards are.  Seems like the NL Central as a whole hasn't won a game in close to a week - bit of an exaggeration but not that much of one.

Sounds like Willson Contreras will primarily be playing DH/OF for the Cardinals moving forward.

Wilson Contreras will be playing majority of his games at DH and OF now for the Cardinals.  That signing turned bad real quick already.

The Cards' Contreras has apparently been benched from catching will be stuck at DH, or possibley OF now.

I find it incredibly difficult to cheer for the Cardinals under any circumstances. They're my NL White Sox.

Right now the central is the only division in the NL that has three teams .500 or above.

I think they said it was just for a couple of weeks.  Either way it was stupid and didn't help the pitching staff.

I wasn't sure if you meant you have no clue what they're doing or if you think they don't have a clue what they're doing. Then I realized both are probably right.
