I really, really like Wichrowski, big velo strike, think the they struck/created gold again. Mis and Wich the rowski brothers would be a fun TOR pair.

Generally not a big fan of ranking 1B or all bat guys high, as the floor is just so low, and you reeeaallly have to hit to be a high war guy, so lower on Black somewhat, and just about out on Luke Adams.

Quero falls to #3 with the injury and Misi/Black playing well. I had a tough time deciding where to put Boeve, before or after our younger top prospect, so I put him in the middle. Car Rod and EBJ fall, and from 13-18 I have the young talented IF. I only added Barrios and Rodriguez but there where a bunch of options. Lestson, Hall, Wichrowski, Herrera, and few other could make a claim along with some older prospects like Blalock, Wood, Clarke, Dunn, Myers etc.

  1. Jacob Misiorowski
Highest talent, at AA, but could rank anywhere from 1-3
  2. Jeferson Quero
Would be #1 for sure if healthy.
  3. Brock Wilken
Potential is there, and could be #1 by end of the season.
  4. Tyler Black
Professional hitter. Needs to adjust to MLB pitching. Lack of clear defense has always held him back, but clearly a top 5 prospect given age/level/track history
  5. Robert Gasser
Default top starting pitching prospect, and may be off this list sometime this year if he pitches more in the bigs, but could be a chance at #1 prospect status if he doesn't get enough innings in the Show.
  6. Carlos F Rodriguez
Could rise big by the end of the end or fall big - is April CRod what to expect, or the 2 starts in May more the real him?
  7. Mike Boeve
He is hitting and as long as he does he will rise.
  8. Luis Lara
    So young for his level
  9. Cooper Pratt
  10. Juan Baez
Hits at every level, and still young. Overlooked a bit in a deep system?
  11. Josh Knoth
  12. Yophery Rodriguez
Star potential, but looks overmatched some nights. All to be expected for an 18 year old in A ball. Hopeful he can learn from his A ball experience. So much variability - could push for the top spot by next year if he puts it all together.
  13. Dylan O'Rae
Whirling dervish of a player. Gets walks, BHP, slap hits, steals bases, scores from first. A little engine that drives the offense. Lack of power and true defensive home will keep him out of the top 5-10 discussion.
  14. Bradley Blalock
Nice start to the year. Needs to stay healthy and hopefully move up to AAA to keep his prospect status.
  15. Brett Wichrowski
Out of nowhere to the top 15-20 discussion. Already in AA less than a year after being drafted.
  16. Luke Adams
Solid plate discipline. Average is not there, power still is there. Probably a 1B once he moves up. Still so young so still a lot of potential movement up or down the charts.
  17. Logan Henderson
Make or break year as a prospect. Dominated low A last year, so high A will be a real test, and if he can make it up to AA he moves up the list.
  18. Eric Bitonti
Still in rookie ball, it's his potential as a power hitter that is the key. Outside of Wilken he is the only true slugger on the list. He can rise, or completely drop off based upon his season this year and next at the plate.
  19. Wes Clarke
AA/AAA, hits and slugs, can play 1B/DH and catch. Not a true "prospect" but hard to keep him off the list at this time. But clearly his "prospect" days are numbered either due to progression of others, or maybe because he finds the bigs this year or early next.
  20. Eric Brown Jr
Elite defender. Feels like he has been here for years, but only drafted in 2022. Frelick, Black, Wilken, Boeve ascensions make him seem like a laggard, but he has a year or so to prove it. Defense is MLB ready.

Top 5 are set but interchangeable. Quero missing a year and injury keeps him off the top spot, but would be otherwise. Boeve a big jump. Wichrowski has to join the list.

I have Brown falling, but staying on the top 20 since he is at AA and has elite defense.

Baez is only 6 months older than Y. Rodriguez, and is a hitting machine. Probably a decent IF for a defensive home.

I want to add M. Rodriguez, Y. Herrera among other young pitchers, but still too early on to move them too high. Henderson and Blalock swap spots for me, with Blalock arrow up, and Henderson down until he gets back into action.

This is tough. I like Wes Clarke, and as a hitting/slugging AA/AAA prospect (albeit older for his levels) gave him the spot, but both he and Brown will drop off is the younger players start to perform, and after the draft. Unless EBJ starts to hit, c'mon Eric, find that college ball swing of yours and start to hit the cover off the ball.

Might be a stretch her, but I put more value on guys who appear closer to MLB ready
  4. Brock Wilken
  5. Carlos F Rodriguez
  6. Cooper Pratt
  7. Luis Lara
  8. Jeferson Quero
shoulder injuries not good for anyone, let alone a catcher
  9. Mike Boeve
great contact and plate discipline. Want to see a little more power

  1. Jacob Misiorowski
    Highest upside in the system.
  2. Robert Gasser
    Helping the MLB rotation now.
  3. Tyler Black
    Good 1B/DH insurance policy.
  4. Jeferson Quero
Contender for #1 if not for injury.
  5. Brock Wilken
Love how much power he generates from such a simple set up.
  6. Mike Boeve
Can't imagine too many guys have two different minor league stops with .500 batting averages.
  7. Yophery Rodriguez
Highest upside of the hitters yet to reach AA.
  8. Luis Lara
Holding his own as one of only three teenage hitters in the Midwest League.
  9. Cooper Pratt
Solid start to full season ball.
  10. Josh Knoth
Stuff has lived up to the billing.
  11. Eric Brown Jr
    I still believe.
  12. Carlos F Rodriguez
Put together his two best starts of the year (11 IP | 2 ER | 15 K | 2 BB) leading up to voting, hopefully a sign he is starting to figure things out at the AAA level.
  13. Bradley Blalock
Getting good results in his first exposure to AA.
  14. Tyler Woessner
Dominated AA, but got bombed in his first two AAA starts.
  15. Logan Henderson
Just needs to stay healthy and stack innings the rest of the summer.
  16. Gregory Barrios
Hot start at A+ has pushed him to the top of the second tier of hitters yet to reach AA for me.
  17. Luke Adams
Intriguing mix of OBP, power and speed (low batting average notwithstanding)
  18. Dylan O'Rae
Just keeps on getting on base and stealing bags.
  19. Juan Baez
Just keeps on hitting (and getting caught stealing bags)
  20. Craig Yoho
    YO-HO!! YO-HO!! YO-HO!!
