To get quality, you have to give up quality.

If the Brewers were to get an impact player or two, but you had to part with two top-10 prospects, which two would you be most willing to part with?

Rules - both prospects have to be in the top 10 of at least one of the following lists:
Brewerfanatic top prospects
MLB top 30
Fangraphs
Baseball America

You can name the target if you like, but that's optional.  You have to name the prospects, and they both need to be in the top-10 of at least one list.  And note that the lower ranked prospects you are willing to give up means a lower-impact player you get in return.

I'm parting with:

Jett Williams - teams value players closer to the majors higher than players below AA.  While Jett may be able to help this year, his lack of a defensive home raises questions.  I'm sending him for a quality 3B with multiple years of control, but only trading him for a 3B.  There's IF help behind him in Pratt, Made, and Pena.

Josh Adamczewski - really great overall hitting profile, but if he's only a LF, he's expendable.  LF is perhaps the easiest position to find hitters, and the Brewers have Chourio locked up for a long time.

(If the Brewers want a top SP, something tells me that Bishop Letson will need to be involved in the deal though.)

Williams and Dinges. Williams has underwhelmed me and I don't see him being a long term starter for the Brewers. Dinges I don't think he's going to stick at catcher and I don't think the bat is anything special if he's not a C.

It’s a little bit of a tough question for me because everything depends on what we could actually get. Like Made would normally be “untouchable” for me but then if you told me that Bobby Witt was available then Made is certainly on the table. Pratt too is someone I’d be willing to trade given the depth on the farm in the middle infield spots, and it’s not like his contract makes him untradeable but it just doesn’t make realistic sense since they clearly did it with the vision of him being a part of their future.

In a vacuum — I’d say Jett and Bishop. Maybe Fischer. I know everyone loves Fischer and I do too but I’m trying to balance keeping who I like with getting the most impact in return.

Fischer and Dinges.

Fischer is still very highly rated and his strikeout problems will only get worse. Dinges might not be able to hold up as a catcher and that decreases his value dramatically.

These guys would have to go for a controlled player, not a rental.
