Yes, Miz will be making one more start this season against the Cardinals this weekend. That will be a planned full start, after he made a planned short start on 3 days rest a few days ago.

For those who have been fretting about the 1 seed/HFA, 95% sure 100 wins does it for the Brewers after last night's Dodgers loss. So win tonight or any of the three following and you all but sew it up. 

I would bet on the Dodgers losing one more game.

Since they haven’t activated Wilson today, I kinda wonder if they want to use Richardson to eat an inning or two tonight before DFA him to activate Wilson tomorrow.

Probbly the case, if they are going to recall Richardson might as well have him pitch some innings before the DFA. It is kind of odd that the Brewers listed Wilson as the probable starter and didn't activate him, could have just left it at TBA until everything was finalized.

Cubs clinched a wildcard today.  Lots of W flags out today.  

I suspect this is a minority viewpoint, but I think of the Cubs as our weakest potential opponent, so I'm cool w/ it.

Was getting a little dicey on the North Side. Two losses to the Marlins, afternoon game today, then flying out for a double-header in Boston. They're going to have to scrap and claw for a home series. We'll see how bad they want it. I'd rather not play the Cubs, but if they have to fly out to San Diego from Boston (even if they get to spend Sunday in Chicago because of their off day), there are worse things than getting a team that's had to go East Coast-West Coast-Midwest at the end of a long season.

San Diego concerns me in a short series with their collection of high leverage bullpen arms and enough offense to get by. I’d rather avoid them. We saw their pathway to victory when we played them — Robbie Ray stumbles through 4+ IP but somehow allows only a run or two, then they piggyback their 100 mph guys and win 3-2 in a game with about 8 total hits.
