I was super negative about the trade deadline along with a lot of other fans. I’ve decided to move past this, be more positive and hope the magic continues the rest of the season and leads us to our first ever World Series title! Go Brewers!

For Civale who has given up 19 runs in 41 innings with white sox.

Apologies for the semi-obscure reference, but I sometimes imagine that the Brewers annually cause the people who run the projection systems to mimic Professor Duncan’s meltdown about Abed on the first season of “Community.”

Perfect world scenario alert! Collins wins ROY and Mizz falls short of the threshold to get a full year of service time.

For me it should be Drake Baldwin. Catcher with an .807 OPS, crushing baseballs with great underlying metrics and average defense. Its tough to accumulate WAR the same way as a catcher when you have more rest days than every other hitter, but Baldwin has been awesome and has been there all season.

Yeah, feels like a stretch to me that Miz will end up coming in top 2, especially with limited innings. He was the new hotness last month, but there are multiple reasonable choices above him at this point, unless he just goes off and like doesn't allow a run the rest of the season or something.

It's crazy how different Collins and Mizz got into the ROY discussion. Mizz took the league by storm but lacks the overall body of work. Collins is putting up some of the best rookie numbers in the league without anyone noticing.

Reds win a couple (which I don't mind for this series), but so do the Brewers.
