Brewers sat on the tarmac Sun. night because of plane trouble for over 5 hrs with their charter and didn't get into San Francisco until early Mon. morning, so no wonder they didn't look very energetic last night.

Roupp has been very good in 5 of his last 6 starts.

Seems like we always struggle in SF…….i have no idea if that’s true but it feels like it……even when they aren’t good.

Maybe not always, but much more often than not the Brewers struggle in SF. 

As I posted last night, starting in 2014 (when a lopsided series sweep by the Giants propelled the Brewers to a September collapse) the Brewers have now gone 14-24 there and have lost 8 of 11 series. That includes 3 of the last 4 series lost and Hader’s infamous 6 run inning in 2022. 
 

The Brewers really need to salvage at least one in this series, and tonight is probably the best chance with Brewer killer Webb going tomorrow.

Bauers going down hurts a lot. Bauers 139 wRC+ against RHP was second on the team minimum 100 PA against RHP and his 125 WRC+ against LHP was fourth on the team minimum 50 PA against LHP.  

We are going to need Chourio and Contreras to snap out of their slumps.

Under .500 team regardless of being in a division race. Expiring contract. Michael Arroyo ready for an everyday role. Jerry Dipoto needing to scratch his trade itch. Dont see them being real buyers especially if the Hancock chatter is real. IDK just a thought.

They're very much in the race and are as good of a bet as any non-Yankees/Rays team to make the WS out of the AL.

They need bats and are not going to sell their best bat.
