Given ESPN had the best record in the League Brewsers scuffling to a 5-1 road trip record at LA and seattle and a #7 Power ranking - two behind the Dodgers and 6 behind the juggernaut first place Cubs - this past Monday, I have to think they knock them out of their Top 10 entirely this week after this pathetic road performance. I hear the Reds are piping Red Hot. They likely bump the Brewers to, what, 12th? Feels more than fair.

Rottino: *Checks Brewerfanatic threads from before the trade deadline* "There's some chat about the Brewers not having enough SLG in their lineup."

Right, which is a perfect example why getting bent out of shape about batting orders before games is pointless…especially with this year’s team.

Yeah I'm done being mad at any decision the Brewers make at this point.  They've made me look silly too many times.

Man, my feed must be lagging. Count was 0-0 when I read your post..

Will Hall get a three inning save in a 14-1 game?

That would be ideal to keep the bullpen rested.

Maybe McGee gets the 9th again … he may be our new Chafin.

Brewers now have 60 runs in 6 games against the Nationals this season.  Average of 10 runs a game, that's insane.

The Nats are bad but nobody is that bad

It is quite uncanny how frequently that happens.

Objectively, the Brewers are good, and nobody else is this good.

I’m seeing some reports that the MLB record for most hits in a 3-game series was 52. I’m guessing that was modern era.

If so, we have the record now :)

Brewers now 4th in runs scored in MLB

They may also be 4th in runs allowed

What a complete baseball team - in spite of various injuries

The Average Joes are quite good it seems
