  1. Jackson Chourio
Came out of the struggles early on, maybe even stronger than any time in his dominant 2022. Future superstar.
  2. Jeferson Quero
Nothing much has changed since he was injured most of July. I have always been a huge Quero fan, and this year has cemented him as a top 50 (minimally) prospect in all of baseball.
  3. Sal Frelick
Just an unbelievable start to his MLB career. His defense and arm always felt underrated by the prospect teams and he sure has showed that. The hit tool is legit, though I'm not expecting the power output to continue at nearly this pace.
  4. Jacob Misiorowski
The command concerns have reared their ugly head in AA. That's to be expected. I love that they're challenging him. He's adjusted better the last couple of starts and the strikeout numbers are still great. After an adjustment period, I still expect big things.
  5. Tyler Black
Finally in AAA, the bat is legit. The glove is looking closer to being *ok* at a few spots. It'll be a bat first profile that I still won't rule out seeing this season.
  6. Luis Lara
His bat has slowed a bit. Not shocking, as he's likely never played this many games. His glove has remained elite though. It's a plus glove in center, and I don't worry about the bat as he continues to mature and get stronger.
  7. Eric Brown Jr
He's still hurt, but I'm still a huge fan of his. I am anticipating a breakout similar to Black's this year, as long as he stays healthy. I'd expect him to go to the AZ Fall League like Black did, and use that as a jumping off point.
  8. Robert Gasser
He's ready for big league innings. He's been very solid in a ridiculous AAA hitting environment.
  9. Cooper Pratt
My favorite pick of the draft, there is a chance he could be special, and even if all of it doesn't come together, he has so many different abilities, it gives him a lot of potential paths to the big leagues.
  10. Carlos F Rodriguez
Still dominating AA, probably ready for AAA but likely hitting an innings limit for the season. Maybe a cup of coffee in AAA for his last couple starts.
  11. Brock Wilken
Already growing on me. Think his approach borders on passive (rather than patient), but whiffs likely won't be as big an issue as you'd expect with his huge power. Still not sure I see him sticking at 3B long term.
  12. Josh Knoth
Nothing's changed since July. Hoping we get at least one appearance in the ACL, but if not, it's still the second best pure stuff in the system behind Misiorowski.
  13. Mike Boeve
I loved Boeve in the draft, and he certainly isn't doing anything to deter that! I knew there was more power in there, but even I wasn't expecting 112 MPH exit velos on homers already. I want to see the glove and how he handles defensive spots, but hard not to be excited by his start.
  14. Luke Adams
I really like Luke Adams. He would've been an easy top 10 guy in the system most years. He also borders on passive at times, but the ability to make hard contact and avoid whiffs at his age and already in full season ball is legit. He's a ridiculous athlete for his size. I think we're talking about a guy who would be getting future first round buzz if he made it to Michigan State.
  15. Eric Bitonti
Absolutely huge power from a guy who is still 17. His swing and miss will be something to watch, but I don't think it'll be as bad as you might expect.
  16. Abner Uribe
Throws triple digits with movement and a great slider too. Likely the Brewers future closer.
  17. Logan Henderson
Huge Henderson fan. Fastball velo has improved this year and it's the best changeup in the system. Hope to see him moved up to Appleton to make a few starts this season.
  18. Daniel Guilarte
Just a really good glove and bat to ball skills. Heady player in the field and on the bases. Needs to tap into a little more power by elevating more, but all the tools are there.
  19. Yophery Rodriguez
Ridiculous 1.4 BB/K ratio in the DSL. Big power, and the batted ball profile has improved over the course of the season. Could see a Lara/Chourio type breakout next year, especially if he skips the ACL like they did.
  20. Bradley Blalock
Still pretty surprised the Brewers got someone this interesting for Urias. This is a guy with a plus fastball and breaking ball and another solid breaking ball. Rule 5 eligible and I imagine he will be protected. Hoping to see him in AA this year.

I still can't believe how well the Brewers did in this past draft. Just an unbelievable haul, and the fact all of them are off to good starts isn't hurting the hype. The system is in the best place it's been since the Weeks/Fielder/Hardy/Hart days. Depth is there, high end talent is there. It's a top 10 farm in the league, if not closer to top 5.

Just for fun, here's the rest of my current Top 50:

  1. Jackson Chourio
    Future GOAT
  2. Jacob Misiorowski
    Very high upside.
  3. Jeferson Quero
High floor with a pretty high ceiling.
  4. Tyler Black
Started to find a lot more power this year, which in turn increases his celling by a lot. Only concern is where he fits defensively.
  5. Sal Frelick
So far so good in the majors. Low EV but has a great hit tool with good defense.
  6. Brock Wilken
Love the upside here. Lots of power and has shown he has a good eye in his small sample size so far.
  7. Robert Gasser
Looks like he could be a very good #3 starter for the brewers next year. That's assuming we trade Burnes.
  8. Mike Boeve
I'm taking a bite into the small sample size, and ranking him pretty high, His EV is looking good, and he will always have his hit tool.
  9. Carlos F Rodriguez
Holding his own in AA at 21 is impressive. Rodriguez is doing more than just holding his own that.
  10. Luke Adams
Very nice upside here. Has nice power plus good speed. His BB rate is also very nice.
  11. Cooper Pratt
Very nice upside. Tough to figure out where to rank him due to his young age and having limited stats so far in his career.
  12. Josh Knoth
Same as Pratt. I really like this pick, and think he has really good upside.
  13. Luis Lara
19 with a 120 wrc+ in single A. Not a ton of power upside, but he's good defensively, and doesn't strike out as much as a 19 year old should.
  14. Eric Brown Jr
I know he has a lot of fans. He needs to show a bit more power. 49 hits with 9 being for extra bases is a bit of a concern. Don't get me wrong, I do like him as a prospect. Just maybe not as much as most.
  15. Logan Henderson
Very nice K rate. If he puts up similar numbers in the next level he could jump up big time.
  16. Abner Uribe
I have a tough time ranking Uribe due to him being a reliver. I love his stuff, but he obviously doesn't have the highest ceiling due to being a reliver. There's also an injury risk here.
  17. Dylan O'Rae
His stats speak for themselves. Looking forward to seeing if they translate to the next level.
  18. Eric Bitonti
Again, it's tough to fit in the new HS draftees.
  19. Matthew Wood
Absolutely dominated the first half of the year in single A. Having a bit of a struggle in A+, but his K% has stayed the same, so I still have faith.
  20. Yophery Rodriguez
So far, he is mashing. We'll see if that continues.

  14. Luke Adams
  15. Mike Boeve
Boeve has already moved up a few spots on my list with his early returns showing some legit power potential. He could move up even further by the end of the season if he continues to show out well in A+.
  16. Logan Henderson
  17. Yophery Rodriguez
I generally don't put DSL players above 20, but Yophery has earned a bump. I think he could rise up my list very fast next season.
  18. Eric Bitonti
  19. Daniel Guilarte
  20. Bradley Blalock
Blalock could rise up this list pretty quickly as well if Brewers push him to AA and he fairs well. I haven't had a chance to watch him just yet, but the most recent Fangraphs scouting report was pretty glowing on Blalock's potential.

Bradley Blalock, Jadher Arienamo, and Juan Baez are knocking on the door of the top 20.

Carlos Rodriguez has one of the best AA pitchers at 21. He should be on the top 100 overall soon my opinion. We need to move O'Rae, Baez, Chourio, C Rodriguez, Henderson, and Blalock up a level. I am also glad to see our draft picks playing well.

Whooo!! Those final 6-7 spots are TOUGH!!! You could make a solid argument for any 8 or 9 not on my list. Still a big, big believer in Adams. And if he can find consistency to match the defensive talent, Zamora can surprise a lot of people.

  1. Jackson Chourio
Chourio is Chourio. No explanation needed.
  2. Sal Frelick
I had doubted Frelick whith his "weak" return from injury. His MLB debut shut me up. Will only be a prospect for a short while now but he still deserves this spot. Higher than Quero and Black because he has proved that his tools work at the MLB level. His production could drop by 200 points in OPS and he would still be a starting MLB outfielder.
  3. Jeferson Quero
I continue to love his game. Unfortunate injury or he would already be up in AAA. I think the only thing that has to be seen is how he adapts to superior pitching.
  4. Tyler Black
Incredible tools and could probably contribute in MLB today. His defence is the only thing slightly keeping him back. Im excited to see what he can do in Nashville.
  5. Jacob Misiorowski
Misio probably has a higher ceiling than Quero or Black. I do have some concerns though. First is his health. The velocity he throws can be dangerous for his arm. I don't know a thing about pitching mechanics, but there is something with his that just doesn't feel right. The control problems also worry me. His last start un AA exemplifies it perfectly. Yes 9Ks, but 4 walks and 3HBP. As he rises through AAA those numbers will only increase if he can't control his stuff, and the Ks will go down.
  6. Robert Gasser
He is MLB ready. Could be our number 3-4 starter for years to come. Has finally managed to command his pitches.
  7. Brock Wilken
Has been really good through his first 50 professional PAs. I love his swing. Could be really big.
  8. Carlos F Rodriguez
Has been really consistent the whole season. Really good numbers and has the stuff to be a solid starter. Hopefully we see him at AAA this year.
  9. Abner Uribe
Future closer. Needs to continue to learn no command his pitches. Not higher because he is only a reliever
  10. Mike Boeve
I love his bat. Has shown power and OBP skills albeit in a small sample. Getting him at 54 feels like a steal
  11. Luis Lara
Continues to show promise. Would love to see more power develop.
  12. Cooper Pratt
Great defence and OBP skills. Has a lot of potential.
  13. Josh Knoth
We haven't seen him yet, but my ranking comes from the Brewers' track record with pitchers. Those spin rates excite me.
  14. Eric Bitonti
Has looked good in his short ACL stint. Is already showing his power.
  15. Luke Adams
Adams has been growing on me throghout the season. Good power that can develop and has shown positional versatility. Good base running too.
  16. Yophery Rodriguez
Has shown a lot of potential and could be the next Chourio. Has only played in the DSL so I am curious to see how he will do stateside.
  17. Logan Henderson
    Has been fantastic in Carolina.
  18. Eric Brown Jr
The injuries and lack of power concern me. I think he only gets high on many lists because he was a Round 1 pick.
  19. Bradley Blalock
Has been solid. Im excited to see more of him.
  20. Dylan O'Rae
The OBP and base stealing skills are insane. The power is a concern though. Over 200 ACL ABs and no homers and only 5 XBH to show.

Players who missed narrowly.

Robert Moore- Has disapointed me in High-A. Especially after his great time in Australia.

Matthew Wood- I used to be really high on me. High-A has been to high of a challenge for him and I am not confident on how he will progress through the minors. The defence, IMO, has been good but not great.

Tyler Woessner- Has struggled as the year has gone on.

Quinton Low

Freddy Zamora

Daniel Guilarte

Overall the system is in a really strong place. The top 5 could be the #1 prospect in several organisations and are all very promising. The 2023 class looks deep and has set us up really well. I also think the guys in the 16-25 range can easily be moved around.

Excited to see how these young men develop!
