21-30 Gasser, Black, Knoth Crow, Hardin, Hunt, Arienamo, Di Turri, Seigler, EMJ

With time missed I've dropped Gasser, Black, and Knoth off the top 20 even though talent wise they are borderline top 10.

31-40 Anderson, Fenelon, Antununez, Dorchies, Renz, Dubanewicz, King, Bjorn Johnson

I am just putting all the young teenage talent here, in a month or two it should be more obvious which of these are going to take off.

41-50 Corobo, Encarnacion, Montero, Cornielle, Baez, Birchard, Manny Rodriguez, Kuehner, Travis Smith, Leonard Rijo

More teenagers and a handful of guys who should be in the top 30 but I just pushed back because of all the younger talent.

I really thought he would dominate in AA and be considered for a quick promotion to MLB

Brock Wilken is baaaaaaaack!   I said it last month i think, this should be a top 30! (like Baseball America)

I ranked some pitchers lower just because there is such a large injury factor with pitching. It doesnt appear that Tyler Black, Carlos Rodriguez or Ernesto Martinez are in their plans in that others have been promoted instead of them.

For all of their remarkable success in recent seasons, this might be the "best" minor league season I can remember, in terms of prospect performance. Guys are earning their rankings, and pushing for promotion, outside of injury-related performance. Not many guys are struggling. Even a guy like Bitonti (with that tall, angular frame) who is off to a slow start, has a wRC+ of 111.

I'll predict that Yoho and Boeve are the biggest fallers. Dinges and Adamczewski the biggest risers.

Basic entirely unsolicited thoughts about our list of players here:

(1) 2025 Eduardo Garcia - especially given his ability to competently play SS/3B/CF not an easy feat - imho is definitively a more vote-worthy prospect than Guilarte and Hall.

(2) I don't know why RHP Tyler Woessner is on this list. He hasn't shown anything resembling remotely close to a Top 20 guy for over 1.5 years. He's not even remotely a Top 30 guy from my vantage point.

(3) I think we are seeing 1B/DH Wes Clarke is back to fringe Top 30 guy. He is now only getting spot (and I do mean 'spot') playing time with the addition of savvy vet Bobby Dalbec and EMJ's return from injury. He is now playing essentially 2-to-3 games every six-game set. He continues to strike out at far too many pitches in the zone. Given his age, his limitations, and these flaws I just don't see him as anything other than a fringe 30 guy.

(4) It's very early in the DSL but there are a couple of players who weren't the highly touted we'll want to keep an eye on. INF Leonard Rijo has really impressed early, OF Carlos Done (Injured last season - 2024 signee) has flashed, C Johanderson Tarazona has flashed (albeit in an absurdly small sample size, unfortunately). It's obviously way too early here. Big name signings have gotten off to very pedestrian starts (and that's being quite generous - without Fenelon's early HR you likely wouldn't even notice their collective outputs). And, we know not to over invest in DSL pitching thoughts.

(4) I think if we're going to be putting these older names up here we should very much consider counter-balancing that narrative with some of the extremely young names impressive. I go immediately to the HS pitchers from last year's draft. RHP's Jayden Dubanewicz, Ethan Dorchies, and Hayden Robinson (now that he's back healthy). I would personally be more bullish about including these types of upside unknowns than several of the older names on this list. This may just be me, however.

(5) To that same end, I'd be inclined to want to vote on INF Juan Ortuno, INF Jorge Quintana, OF Jorge Quintana over some of the older names on this list from a purely speculatively upside and youth proposition

(6) INF/OF Luis Lameda, imho, is currently one of the most underrated versatile rapidly maturing and evolving stateside player in my viewing world. This young man moves with agility and athleticism. He is a smooth and graceful athlete. His bat is really intriguing - he has line drive pop in there. He has snuck up into my wheelhouse of players I love to watch perhaps faster than any other player in the stateside ranks in 2025. I have been absurdly pleasantly surprised by what I have seen.

(7) OF Hedbert Perez is stating his case to potentially be in these names by season's end. His minor shoulder injury knocked him back some and he hasn't quite regained that heater he was on. BUT, he has made it known he may belong back in consideration for Top 20 votes here and there.

(8) C Matt Wood is suddenly becoming a name to really pay attention to in Biloxi. Of all things! This could just be a hot stretch - we've seen it time and again in Minor League baseball. But, it could also be the start of something for him. I am merely saying we should continue monitoring his progress down in the Southern League.

That is all I can think of in this rapid-fire 'over coffee' morning thoughts before I go tend to farm work. Happy voting!

  1. Jesus Made
Left side of the infield player who should be in the majors as early as 2028. Very good batting eye with electric bat will grow into even more power.
  2. Luis Pena
Left side of the infield player with great hit tool. Could be in the majors as early as 2028.
  3. Jacob Misiorowski
Floor of a bullpen ace. Still a shot as a starter. If Chris Hook can get him to throw more strikes, ceiling is a #2 starter.
  4. Cooper Pratt
Floor is a 5-10 year defensive ace at short, good enough to keep Pena & Made off of short. If he can get to some in-game power, may be a multiple time All Star.
  5. Marco Dinges
Electric bat with some power. If he can catch, will be an All Star.
  6. Josh Adamczewski
Best current hitter in the system. Hit tool. Current doubles plus power. Good eye. If his back is fine, will be in LF in Milwaukee by 2028 or 9.
  7. Luke Adams
This year has shown some of what his ceiling can be. If he lets himself be more aggressive in the zone, trusting his swing decisions, first base can be his for years.
  8. Logan Henderson
Floor as a 4th starter. Will be in the rotation in 2026. Hopefully can keep his fastball high revving enough to limit homers.
  9. Jeferson Quero
Hard to judge right now. Defensively, he is super rusty after the year out. Gotta think of this as a reset year.
  10. Braylon Payne
Super young. Super inexperienced. Tremendous tools - at least a 4 tool player who we will see if he can hit enough. Loses some gloss playing daily with Pena & Made. If there was still the short season leagues, he would be ideal.
  11. Brock Wilken
Seems he can stay at 3B. Will supply power and walks, but the Ks will limit his hit tool enough that once Made & Pena come through the system, he will be in the 1B group, and may not be able to play ahead of the younger Adams.
  12. Craig Yoho
Has some ability to get whiffs in the majors. Needs to also throw in-zone strikes. His time in the majors will completely rely on that. Could be a key pen member soon, if he can figure that out.
  13. Carlos F Rodriguez
How hurt is he? Looks that he could be a 4th starter in 2026, but if hurt, that throws that out the window.
  14. Luis Lara
Has shown some of what his ceiling could be this year. Speed. Excellent D. Some hit with some pop. Needs to climb another level and show more.
  15. Bryce Meccage
Looks great so far. Good ceiling. Floor depends on the need to get through the next couple of years without getting hurt. About exactly the same as Letson or Manuel Rodriguez or Knoth.
  16. Alexander Cornielle
Has shown very well at his highest level this year. When the glut of starting pitching ahead of him clears out, he will be in Nashville, and then we will know a lot. Does not seem to have a high ceiling, but a solid floor as a 4th starter (along with 5-6 other guys in the system) is in play.
  17. Coleman Crow
Has shown very well at his highest level this year. When the glut of starting pitching ahead of him clears out, he will be in Nashville, and then we will know a lot. Does not seem to have a high ceiling, but a solid floor as a 4th starter (along with 5-6 other guys in the system) is in play.
  18. Eric Bitonti
More real power than likely anyone in the system. Has work to do as he has so much swing and miss. Already at 1B only, so if he is to make the majors, will have to figure that out.
  19. Bishop Letson
How hurt is he? Looked good through last season, and even better at the beginning of this season. Cannot be determined until he comes back. Maybe not different for Meccage or Knoth or Manuel Rodriguez either; their health will be the key.
  20. Mike Boeve
Still recovering from injury. This may be a reset year, or he has hit a peak in AA. 2026 will tell all. His swing & miss is quite higher than ever, and his walks/hits are down. Plus in the 1B/DH mix behind Adams & Wilken.

Thanks for letting me pontificate/vent/speculate.  It was fun!  Could have thoughts for a top 30.  :-)

Top 10 has so much future impact.

Another draft similar to ‘24 and this will be hands down the best farm system in the game. It might get there without it.

This system is really balanced with positional vs pitching. Bodes well in being able to supply the big-club with what it needs to become a powerhouse later this decade.

Higher in Pena than Made, Henderson proved at the majors he can be extremely effective. Worry about no great 3rd pitch yet. Of the infield guys at AA, I see Pratt being another version of turang and of the other 3 I’m the highest on Luke Adams and love how he has performed his best of any year in the minors at AA. Needs to get a little more agressive, but think his floor is the highest of him, wilken and Boeve. Also have become a big fan of dinges and reports are his defense is coming along well, which was his biggest red flag. Think there’s a lot of young pitchers at every level that have high potential as well including Meccage, Hardin, Crow and Letson. Can’t wait to see how they all develop.

Easily a dozen legit options for this last spot, but went with Bjorn because his 2.21 FIP is currently 4th in the Brewers system behind Crow (1.75), Hardin (1.89), and Letson (2.14).

Don't have time to add notes for my T20, but in honor of Toby, AKA "And That" from the old days on Fanatic, here are my current tiers through 35 OFP. I view the tiers as much more important than the rankings, especially once you get outside of the Top 10-20.

On my personal spreadsheet, 30+ through 40 tiers have quite a bit of shuffling done throughout the year, but it's harder to move into the 40+ tier and higher.

60 OFP: Made, Misiorowski
