"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

  1. Luis Pena
The full package, never seems to slump
  2. Jesus Made
    Explosive potential
  3. Cooper Pratt
Some minor struggles in AA, but still really young for that league
  4. Jeferson Quero
Keeping fingers crossed that his shoulder heals okay. Looks promising so far
  5. Marco Dinges
Continues to impress at each level. I really like this kid. Stay healthy!
  6. Josh Adamczewski
Rakes everywhere he plays. Worried about ability to say healthy though.
  7. Logan Henderson
Impressed with his mental approach, knowing he would be a mid rotation starter on many MLB teams.
  8. Robert Gasser
Hoping that he can return to the brilliance that was flashed in 2024
  9. Blake Burke
Exciting to imagine what his ceiling would be when the power kicks in.
  10. Braylon Payne
Playing solid ball at Carolina at a very young age.
  11. Brock Wilken
Impressed with his mental toughness to come back so strong after the horrible injury.
  12. Eric Bitonti
  13. Andrew Fischer
Let's see if the swagger translates to results in pro ball
  14. Craig Yoho
I think Craig will be a lights-out closer for the Brewers sooner than we think.
  15. Brett Wichrowski
  16. Coleman Crow
  17. Luke Adams
  18. Bryce Meccage
    Exciting potential
  19. Tyson Hardin
  20. Bishop Letson

Honorable mention for catcher Matt Wood.  The Brewers are really blessed with great depth behind the dish.  I hated to leave Mike Boeve off of my list, but I hope he'll find a groove again as he heals.

All I can really say off the top of my head is I love me some RHP Jason Woodward. I love me some RHP Bishop Letson. I love me some 2B Josh Adamczewski. And, I love me some Marco Dinges.

I think it's clear Pratt has hit a small plateau at Double-A Biloxi - as a result, he's lost some of his sheen from my POV. The fact I easily put Jadher in the 20-to-30 range tells you how deep and talented our current system is: I'm a known Jadher truther but I have a hard time putting him ahead any of these players even though I could rationalize it in many ways. Our 20-through-30 will easily outperform our 1-through-20 many weeks of the Minor League season. I'm reluctant to put Melvin Hernandez or Manuel Rodriguez in the Top 20's until I see what their stuff does in the Southern League - that may just be me but that's a big jump in competition and I need to see that velo play against stiffer competition. I am at a point where, until I see consistent defensive opportunities and strikeout numbers coming back to Earth, Mike Boeve is no longer a Top 20 prospect for me. INF/OF Tyler Black is nowhere near my Top 20 at present and that's just wild n' wooly. I think guys like INF Ethan Murray and LHP Tate Kuehner - who aren't even in this list - could very easily be impact players today in Triple-A - extremely underrated players who fall outside these lists. That's a testament to the quality of depth we have system-wide. I feel the same way about INF Fillipo Di Turi who continues to not get any of the accolades he deserves. He is an incredibly solid player who is way too often overlooked.

Some really tough exclusions here. It will be interesting to see how many players will be on every ballot (or all but one or two outliers). The tier once you get past 9 or 10 is so large, I've got a feeling the votes will be pretty well scattered.

Took a while to overcome taking a fastball to the face, but leads the Southern League in OPS and HRs by a mile, was tied for 2nd in all of the minors in HRs and top-5 in all of the minors in XBH when he got injured. Slashed .237/.368/.570 in May and then .304/.409/.786 in June. Road OPS alone would still be 4th in the Southern League.

  20. Ethan Murray

If any of these guys get traded, my next five in order would be Yoho, Meccage, Bitonti, Boeve, Knoth.

In Seattle currently, so not much time to add context. I love the Cairone pick though so I snuck him in at 20. Ebel isn't far off, Thompson is likely around 30, but there are a ton of years he would've easily been T20 for me. Just ridiculous depth. Probably close to 20 names I look at as reasonable options for the last few spots.
